Safe and Sound
Hey all just a quick blog tonight to let you know that we are here safe and sound and will be spending the evening packing food bags to be delivered to houses later in the week. Got some tired bodies from being up all night, but God is sustaining us completely, and we'll have an opportunity to get to sleep early tonight and will rest well no doubt. Just had an orientation meeting with Tim Hines the located missionary here (with a heart the size of the Grand Canyon for Jesus and this country) and if those few moments together were any indication of how the rest of the week will go we are in for an absolutely delightful time. Will be working VERY hard tomorrow on a construction project to help build a sidewalk and some gutters for a church, built last year, in a village called San Miguel. Volunteers were asked to get up and be ready to leave at 6:15 in the morning to go and prepare the site and we had more volunteers than spaces. That's always a good sign. Eager hearts willing to serve. Can't wait to see what God does with that. Will sign off for today to go help pack food bags. Please continue to lift us up and know that your hearts are so here with us. We love you.
