Almost There!!

Hey all....as my sister Beth Moore says when she gets really excited about something, GLORY!! We are officially 2 and a half weeks away from departing to a land hundreds of miles away. This is an experience which has already provided us with tremendous opportunities to grow without ever leaving the country. How like God to love us so that He'd begin to pour out the blessings early. It's been an amazing few months. Thanks first of all to God and then to so many of you we have not only raised enough funds to be able to take 34 people on this journey and to pay for travel expenses, but to build 7-8 houses, feed 400 families, build a playground, supply childrens books to the orphanage, host a "banquet for Jesus" -- (Domino's pizza at the orphanage), have an ice cream party with blind children, take clothing to pass out, and a whole host of other things too numerous to mention. God has proven Himself mighty and tremendously faithful and we give him every ounce of the glory. This is certainly not about us, but we are so honored that He would allow us the privilege of going in His name and attempting to be His hands and feet as we try in every way we know how to show others His tremendous love. It is our fervent prayer that we might be illuminated with the fruits of His Spirit that we might glow in a land that needs to see the light of hope.
